July 27, 2001 -- Tom "Microsoft Millionaire" Cook and Kendra
"Nanny Poppins" Underwood tied the marital knot at a simple
ceremony at the Bellingham home of the bride's parents.
Witnessing the happy event were a very few number of relatives, including
Sheehan World publisher Kathy Sheehan, Cook's favorite aunt, and Sheehan
World technical editor Chuck Dingée, Cook's favorite uncle and
former employer at Media Synergy Inc.

The bride wore an earth green cotton blouse, a paisley skirt, black
ankle boots and mascara applied by her sister. Tom, who was fashionably
late, wore a non-Microsoft-issue white shirt and black tie.

The couple delayed their honeymoon until May 2002 when a larger celebration
is planned. Instead of honeymooning, the romantic couple put all their
belongings, including several cats and dogs, in a rented moving van and
moved everything to a new home in Duvall, Wash.

A slurpy, post-nuptial kiss, however, gave Tom, who quit smoking
a few months earlier, heart palpitations, and he underwent heart
surgery in Seattle Aug. 8 to replace his aortic valve. He's healing
              well.
