My brother Robert and Kassy McCall were the first ones out here, in August 1994. We went to Orcas Island and camped out at Doe Bay with some other friends. Here we are on top of Mount Constitution. The Palleys and us on Hurricane Ridge
The Palleys came to visit us in June 1995. We went kayaking and took trips to Vancouver and Seattle and the Olympic Peninsula. Here we are at Hurricane Ridge: sitting left to right: Robin, Joshua, Chuck, me and Gilbert. Alexis is standing behind us. (Note the blue sky.)

Ruth at the river
Ruth Harvey has been out here a number of times to visit her kids. She visited in late August 1995, and hiked the Baker River Trail with us. Ruth and her husband, Jim Martin, joined us at Bumbershoot and hung out with us in Seattle and Deception Pass.
