First we stopped at Nooksack Falls, about three-quarters of the way up the mountain. |
There was a viewpoint of Mt. Shuksan before we got to the parking lot at Artist's Point. |
 | The skies were pretty clear to see Mt. Shuksan, but haze covered a lot of Mount Baker.
We took a little rest and waited for some clouds to blow by, giving us a better view on the 10,600-foot mountain that looks over Bellingham. |

The next morning we packed the car full of our stuff and started heading east again, hoping to make it back in time for school. |
